The Indian business Fashnear Technologies Private Limited is the owner of the e-commerce site Meesho. It's an online marketplace that helps suppliers, resellers, and customers conduct business; it mostly depends on third-party social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.on December 2015, Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal, both alumni of IIT Delhi, founded Fashnear Technologies Private Limited, an on-demand delivery business similar to Swiggy that specializes on fashion items from nearby stores. The initial launch was unsuccessful. With social media platforms serving as marketing tools, the founders' idea to relaunch the platform as Meesho in 2016 allowed resellers to offer nationwide shipping. In February, Meesho had 1.2 million monthly orders and 209,000 users.

Location: Bangalore, India
Responsibilities:-
- Performing code reviews, writing unit tests, and contributing to architectural planning and refactoring.
- Working on bug-fixing and improving application performance.
- Designing and building new features and improvements for the Android platform.
- Mentoring interns and supporting team members.
- Collaborating closely with QA, engineers, product managers, and designers across the company.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Eligibility criteria for applicants:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:-
- Bachelor's degree in BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in any discipline- 1+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Experience working on two or more Android apps in the past
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem
- Familiarity with Material Design guidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patterns
- Experience with common Android libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson Arch-components, etc.
- Familiarity with different programming paradigms, especially functional and reactive programming
- Understanding of consuming REST APIs and what makes them RESTful
- Familiarity with Git and continuous integration
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and multi-threading
- Understanding of advanced Android concepts like Custom Views, Accessibility Services, background processing APIs
- Understanding of different architectural patterns, especially MVVM, and their testability
- Proficiency in debugging, including identifying memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and using tools like ADB, Proguard, etc.
- Ability to discern good design from bad design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code that others can work on
- Additional consideration given if apps have been published to the Play Store
