In 2012, ThoughtSpot secured $10.7 million in Series A funding, with Lightspeed Venture Partners as the primary investor. This was succeeded by a $30 million Series B funding round in 2014, led by Khosla Ventures.
With international expansion being a pivotal move, the company established an office in London in January 2016. The subsequent announcement of an 810 percent revenue increase compared to the previous year in the following month marked a significant milestone. In May 2016, ThoughtSpot raised $50 million in Series C funding, led by General Catalyst Partners. In October 2016, the company received an investment from Hewlett Packard Pathfinder, enabling the sale of its software on Hewlett Packard Enterprise infrastructure.

- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Proficiency in the English language is a prerequisite for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
- Deep understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts and principles
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Keen interest in continuous learning and expanding proficiency in cloud technologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing or related areas are advantageous
