Established in 1983, Pegasystems specializes in developing software for customer relationship management (CRM) and business process management (BPM). Pega's platform is designed to facilitate workflow automation and AI-powered decision-making through a low-code approach, enabling businesses to progress towards autonomous operation.

At the age of 27, Alan Trefler founded Pegasystems in 1983 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prior to this, Trefler had developed computer systems capable of playing chess in the early 1980s. In its early years, the company primarily focused on providing case management, particularly for clients such as American Express. Pegasystems went public in 1996, conducting both initial and secondary public offerings and commenced trading on the NASDAQ exchange using the ticker symbol PEGA.

In March 2010, Pegasystems acquired Chordiant, an enterprise software company, for approximately $161.5 million. This acquisition allowed Pegasystems to enter new markets such as online training, telecommunications, and healthcare. Pegasystems integrated Chordiant's customer relationship management (CRM) technology into its existing operations. In 2012, Pega Cloud was launched, utilizing Amazon Web Services. Additionally, in October 2013, Pegasystems acquired Antenna Software, a mobile application developer, for $27.7 million. Antenna Software, headquartered in New Jersey with additional bases in Kraków and Bangalore, became a part of Pegasystems' operations.

Salary: Upto 4-5 LPA Expected
Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:-

- Interaction with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction

- Understanding requirements, creating and reviewing designs, and validating architecture

- Participation in project estimation, providing inputs for solution delivery, and conducting technical risk planning

- Leadership and guidance for teams to develop high-quality code deliverables and knowledge management

- Knowledge of multiple technologies, basics of architecture and design, testing tools, and agile methodologies

- Understanding project life cycle activities, estimation methodologies, and quality processes

- Understanding the business domain to comprehend business requirements

- Possessing analytical abilities, strong technical skills, and good communication skills

- Demonstration of a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and current technologies and trends

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

Eligibility criteria for applicants:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.

- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

- Process: Experienced in project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and successful implementation of projects within given constraints.

- Technology: Proficient in business intelligence and reporting using Microstrategy, including data modeling, dashboard development, and report creation.

- Technology: Skilled in Azure development and solution architecting, with expertise in developing and deploying applications on the Azure cloud platform.

- Foundational: Possess foundational knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and best practices.
