Ecolab is an American company based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It develops and provides services, technologies, and systems specializing in water treatment, purification, cleaning, and hygiene in a wide range of applications. Merritt J. Osborn founded the Economics Laboratory in 1923, and it was later renamed "Ecolab" in 1986.
Economics Laboratory was formed by Merritt J. "M.J." Osborn in 1923. Absorbit, the company's first product, was developed to swiftly clean hotel room carpets. Soilax, a dishwasher soap, came soon after. During the 1930s, the company expanded throughout the United States, with revenues reaching $5.4 million by the end of the 1940s.
In the early 1950s, it bought the Magnus Company, which gave it access to Magnus' industrial specialized companies such as pulp and paper, metallurgy, transportation, and petrochemicals. Economics Laboratory began to expand internationally in the 1950s, with the founding of its first overseas affiliate in Sweden in 1956. In 1957, the company became public. In 1979, it bought Apollo Technologies, which would be decommissioned as a subsidiary in 1983. EcoLab bought Lystads, Inc., a pest control firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota, in 1984. The company changed its name from Economics Laboratory to Ecolab and went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 1986.

- Deep understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts and principles
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Keen interest in continuous learning and expanding proficiency in cloud technologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing or related areas are advantageous
