Buro Happold Limited, formerly identified as BuroHappold Engineering, is a distinguished British professional services organization specializing in providing engineering consultancy, design, planning, project management, and consulting services for buildings, infrastructure, and the environment. The company, founded in Bath, Somerset, in 1976 by Sir Edmund Happold following his appointment as a professor at the University of Bath with a focus on Architecture and Engineering Design, initially concentrated on projects in the Middle East and subsequently broadened its global operations to encompass diverse engineering aspects for the built environment across 24 locations worldwide.

By 1993, Buro Happold had 130 employees and eight partners. The company experienced continuous growth, reaching 300 employees and 12 partners by 1998, and over 500 employees with 23 partners by 2000. In 2006, the partnership expanded to 25 members, accompanied by over 1,400 employees and 14 offices. This extensive growth and the augmentation of various services led to a restructuring in 2003, forming multidisciplinary teams of engineers, each inclusive of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers supported by specialist consulting groups.

Noteworthy among its specialized consultancy services are its fire consultancy group, FEDRA, and its software development group SMART, which collaborated with The University of Sheffield to establish Vulcan software, extensively utilized in the fire engineering industry.

Job Description:-

Job Role: Security Systems Engineer Role
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: Bachelor's / Degree/Any Equivalent
Experience: Freshers/Experienced are Eligible
Salary: Upto 4 LPA Expected
Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:-

- Interaction with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction

- Understanding requirements, creating and reviewing designs, and validating architecture

- Participation in project estimation, providing inputs for solution delivery, and conducting technical risk planning

- Leadership and guidance for teams to develop high-quality code deliverables and knowledge management

- Knowledge of multiple technologies, basics of architecture and design, testing tools, and agile methodologies

- Understanding project life cycle activities, estimation methodologies, and quality processes

- Understanding the business domain to comprehend business requirements

- Possessing analytical abilities, strong technical skills, and good communication skills

- Demonstration of a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and current technologies and trends

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

Eligibility criteria for applicants:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.

- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

- Process: Experienced in project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and successful implementation of projects within given constraints.

- Technology: Proficient in business intelligence and reporting using Microstrategy, including data modeling, dashboard development, and report creation.

- Technology: Skilled in Azure development and solution architecting, with expertise in developing and deploying applications on the Azure cloud platform.

- Foundational: Possess foundational knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and best practices.
