In 1981, Dassault Systèmes was spun off from Dassault Group to focus on the development and marketing of their 3D surface design software CATI, later rebranded as CATIA. Concurrently, Dassault Systèmes entered into a sales and marketing agreement with IBM, granting IBM the rights to resell the CATIA CAD software.
During the 1990s, Dassault Systèmes' software played a pivotal role in the development of 70% of new airplanes and 40% of new cars worldwide. Leading companies in the aviation and automotive industries, including Honda, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Boeing, utilized CATIA for designing and prototyping their products, replacing reliance on CAD programs and physical prototypes. Notably, the Boeing 777, the Falcon 2000 business jet, and the Rafale jet fighter were all designed using CATIA.
In 1996, Dassault Systèmes conducted a successful initial public offering (IPO) on both the Paris Bourse and Nasdaq. Subsequently, the company expanded its capabilities in product lifecycle management (PLM) by acquiring SolidWorks and Deneb Robotics, which later became part of the DELMIA brand, along with additional software.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Proficiency in the English language is a prerequisite for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
- Deep understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts and principles
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Keen interest in continuous learning and expanding proficiency in cloud technologies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Relevant certifications in cloud computing or related areas are advantageous
