About Company:-

In 1987, the Principal Group, a conglomerate of interconnected Canadian financial firms, experienced a collapse, resulting in financial losses for approximately 67,000 individuals. Subsequently, partial recovery of the losses was accomplished through compensation disbursed by provincial authorities. These payments were based on assessments concerning deficiencies in regulatory supervision.

Comprising three primary entities—First Investors Corporation, Associated Investors of Canada, and Principal Savings and Trust Corporation—the Principal Group was founded by Donald Cormie in 1954 in Edmonton, Alberta. Initially conducting operations in the sale of investment contracts, the company facilitated monthly payments by investors in exchange for a guaranteed future redemption amount along with accruing interest. In 1959, First Investors Corporation established a presence in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. Simultaneously, it expanded to the United States, operating under the name Principal Investors due to name conflicts. Additionally, Associated Investors of Canada was acquired in 1962.

Following the collapse, independent investigations were conducted by the Ombudsman offices in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. These inquiries revealed varying degrees of shortcomings in provincial regulatory oversight. Consequently, in 2001, investors resolved their claims, achieving an estimated recovery rate of 90%, which encompassed compensatory provisions furnished by provincial governments.


Job Description:-

Job Role: Software Engineer
Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: Bachelor's / Degree/Any Equivalent
Experience: Freshers/Experienced are Eligible
Salary: Upto 4 LPA Expected
Location: Hyderabad, India


Responsibilities:-


1. Developing and maintaining technical designs based on requirements
2. Writing application code for programs while following coding standards
3. Creating and executing unit tests
4. Completing analysis and documentation as required by the project
5. Supporting application testing and resolving test defects
6. Reporting status updates as required by the project
7. Following established project execution processes
8. Actively participating in training, self-development, and knowledge sharing.


Eligibility criteria for applicants:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.

- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.


Preferred Qualifications/Skills:


- Process: Experienced in project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and successful implementation of projects within given constraints.

- Technology: Proficient in business intelligence and reporting using Microstrategy, including data modeling, dashboard development, and report creation.

- Technology: Skilled in Azure development and solution architecting, with expertise in developing and deploying applications on the Azure cloud platform.

- Foundational: Possess foundational knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and best practices.
