About Company:-
PhonePe is an Indian digital payments and financial services company. It was founded in December 2015. The PhonePe app, which is based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), was launched in August 2016. The app is available in 11 Indian languages and allows users to perform various financial transactions such as sending and receiving money, recharging mobile and DTH, making utility payments, and conducting in-store payments.
In April 2016, PhonePe was acquired by Flipkart, and as part of the acquisition, the FxMart license was transferred to PhonePe and rebranded as the PhonePe wallet. Sameer Nigam, the founder of PhonePe, was appointed as the CEO.
In August 2016, PhonePe partnered with Yes Bank to launch a UPI-based mobile payment app, based on the government-backed UPI platform.
In 2022, PhonePe announced the launch of international UPI payments, allowing Indian users traveling abroad to pay foreign merchants with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Additionally, PhonePe obtained licensing from the Reserve Bank of India for operating a Semi-Closed Prepaid Payment system.

Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: Bachelor's / Degree/Any Equivalent
Experience: Freshers/Experienced are Eligible
Salary: Upto 4-5 LPA Expected
Location: Bangalore, India
Responsibilities:-
- Develop and test software, ensuring continuous code refactoring to improve code structure and quality
Eligibility criteria for applicants:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a Master's in Computer Applications.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Python Object Oriented Programming
- Python Built-in libraries: JSON, Base64, logging, os, etc.
- Poetry and dependency management in Python
- Asynchronous Reactive Micro services using FastAPI
- Understanding of Distributed Storage and Distributed Compute
- PySpark framework: DataFrames (Aggregation, Windowing techniques), Spark SQL
- Cornerstone Data Ingestion Process and Business Metadata management
- Interactive Analytics using YellowBrick
- Hyperdrive JSON schema development and CStreams Realtime event ingestion pipeline using Kafka
- Event Engine Management
- Test Driven Development
- Working Knowledge of Data Governance Toolset: Collibra, Manta
- REST APIs Specifications using Swagger
- Development tools: Central, XLR, Jenkins
- Docker Image creation, Containers, PODs
- Hydra Cloud Deployment and Troubleshooting
- Logging using Amex Enterprise Logging Framework
